Movie: A Clockwork Orange

Interpretation:
The point of this movie is the same as in the book (at least the American version). The point is that people are not inherently all good or all evil, they are a balance of both. This complication within a person makes them into a "Clockwork Orange" because they seem bright and playful on the outside, but are as complicated as a clock inside (it's a British expression. Choice is also a major theme. The only difference between the Priest and Alex, is that Alex chooses to be bad. When he loses the ability to choose good or evil, he is no longer human, he is simply a body that submits to the will of those that tell him.
