Movie: Blade Runner

Interpretation:
Interesting and well put interpretation of Bladerunner, Steve. Much enjoyed reading. I think there are three versions of the film. The version I have chosen to view, most of the time, is Ridley Scott's 'Director's Cut'. Most identifiable in this cut is the allusion of Deckard being a replicant. After many viewings, I must say he is, but it is totally left up to the viewer, or course. You pointed out his eyes in the scene with Rachel. You also see Deckard passing thoughts of possibly being a replicant. The thought crosses his mind a few times, if my memory serves me correctly. No words are spoken. He is just thinking among himself. I remember the piano scene with a glass of spirits, pondering many ideas. The main idea is whether he is artificial or truely a living organism. This is the shining theme, in my opinion, of the Director's Cut version.
