Good movie and message. Ive seen it a bunch of times. It will bring anybody to tears.
What I got from this movie is that nobody trusts anybody in this world. Everybody in the movie, except anybody who is paying things forward, keeps a strong guard up from the most important people in their lives. Everyone is afraid to love because they have no trust or faith in eachother and dont want to be hurt again.
The movie is also about a message that is bigger than anything, including the little boy who created it. It shows the power that faith and trust have. The boy is symbolic of Jesus; he's just a boy with a plan to change the world, by promoting peace, starting with himself. A great scene is when the stabbed black guy in the E.R. pulls a gun out and tells the nurse to take care of the young white girl. The message is far greater than any situation, no matter how ironic, because it's simply the right thing to do.
I think this movie isn't about any religion in peticular, but it has a message similar to how religions direct their followers to be good people. Call it Karma, christianity, or whatever you want, but religion is created for people to have peace wth eachother in life.
You would be amazed by peoples' reactions when you help someone out, and when they thank you just tell them to pay it forward.
